Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic. July 29–

women-only professional tennis tournament

Morgan Hill Freedom Fest Celebration
and Parade. July 3–4, times vary. More than
2,500 people participate in this Fourth of July
parade that’s taken place since 1876. On July
3, festivities kick off with the 30th Annual
Patriotic Sing at the Downtown Amphitheater,
while Fourth of July events include the
Freedom Run, parade, Car Cruise n’ Show

49th Ol’ Fashioned 4th of July Parade. July
4, 12 p.m. Marking its 49th rendition, Half
Moon Bay’s beloved Ol’ Fashioned 4th of July
Parade & Block Party takes over Main Street
transforming the charming downtown into
a pulsating Coastsider take on a mini-Mardi
Gras style celebration. The homespun parade
celebrates independence with
floats, marching bands,
horses, community
service groups, classically
cool cars, decorated trikes and bikes,

Family Fourth Independence Day Parade

This old-fashioned family-style parade winds
through the Rose Garden neighborhood and

Guardino, president and CEO of the Silicon

p.m. Jazz saxophonist McCaslin grew up gigging
with his father’s jazz ensembles in Santa
Cruz, attended Boston’s esteemed Berklee
College of Music, and began his recording
career in the late ’90s. However, his collaboration
with David Bowie greatly altered how
he approached his craft. With the expansive,
diverse album “Blow,” McCaslin takes Bowie’
