Welcome to the fall issue of
Marketplace Magazine. With the
start of fall, we have our two annual
Stroll sections. The El Sobrante Stroll
and the Solano Avenue Stroll. Both
are great outdoor family events to
attend in our area.
The El Sobrante Stroll features a
car show in addition to some great
food and entertainment. We have
also grouped the local businesses
DEBORAH
LUDLOW STEVENS
from that city into this section. Information can be found on
pages 20-29. Secondly, the Solano Avenue Stroll, is one
of the largest and most festive street fairs in California. It’s
a great place to shop for those early holiday gifts and to
meet local vendors and businesses. See pages 56-58 for
more info. It’s time to get out and still enjoy the sunshine!
Cheers,
Deborah
I just love our community!
So many wonderful
people, organizations and
things happening to be
grateful for. In this issue
we feature the Beacon
Schools, Mary Law, The
Bridge and the California
Revels. We hope you
enjoy reading about them.
Every month we seek out local nonprofits, people
and places to highlight to help others know about
them. If you have something in mind that you feel
our readers should know about, by all means drop
me a line at julia@marketplacecontracosta.com
Until next month,
Julia
