WORDS, MY MUSIC
6-7pm. This interactive musical performance will combine both
the love of creativity and reading. Performed by professional
composers and musicians, books and poems will be
experienced in a new way.This one-hour program will end in
a grand finale of a spoken word piece created with the help of
the entire audience. Sure to be enjoyed by the whole family.

free seminar: Two UUCB visionaries, Cordell Sloan and Karen
Voorhees, discuss their take on what the future is likely to hold
for us. Karen brings her knowledge of Big History (PhD, cultural
history) and spirituality (36 years as a mediator). Cordell brings
his knowledge of UU history, his background in tech and his

6:30-7:30pm. Slow down and enjoy the sounds of the islands
as you learn to make beautiful music at the library. With
monthly teacher-led ukulele classes you will be a master in no
time. Bring your own ukulele or use one provided by the library.
A limited number of instruments will be available to take home,
