Dear Readers and Advertisers,
We wanted to take this opportunity to address a
concern about some advertising in a recent issue of
Marketplace, that a few readers pointed out to us.
We, at Marketplace take great pride in producing
a magazine that promotes community. We wanted
to take a moment to let everyone know that we
review all advertising before printing each issue to
ensure that the content is appropriate. There are
many different viewpoints and everyone is entitled
to their opinions and interpretations. We respect
that. Our staff has taken note to be more cautious
and sensitive about what may be represented or
misconstrued. We promise you that. Our job is to
embrace community and we will continue on our
path to do so.
Thank you to our loyal readers and advertisers.
Sincerely,
Deborah Stevens & Julia Smith
