From March 19 through 22, dance aficionados will have the chance to experience the company’s distinctive flair during its winter series, “Untamed.” The thrilling program features Wonderbound choreographer Garrett Ammon’s “Serenade for Strings,” a precise work set to Tchaikovsky’s intense score. Also MAR. 19 THRU 22 on the program are the Mambo-infused “Frankie and Johnny,” Michael Smuin’s passionate story ballet tribute to Gene Kelly, and choreographer-in-residence Amy Seiwert’s “Objects of Curiosity,” an evocative piece accompanied by music from Philip Glass and Foday Muso Suso. Enchanting Dianne Four-time Grammy winner Dianne Reeves began captivating live audiences with her soaring vocals and infinitely likeable personality nearly 30 years ago. On Feb. 6, she charms the Bay Area. She’ll bring with her a history of musical experimentation that includes countless jazz, R&B and soul stylings, many of which she offers up in her latest album, “Beautiful Life.” The record, which also features mesmerizing versions of Marvin Gaye’s “I Want You” and Bob Marley’s “Waiting In Vain,” has been nominated for the 2015 Grammy for best jazz vocal album. It could be the start of a bad joke, but fortunately for some lucky fans, it’s not. On Feb. 27, Fox TV’s Bill O’Reilly teams up with pal Dennis Miller for their “Don’t Be a Pinhead” tour. Billed as a “unique mix of political commentary and good-natured humor,” the pair is likely to play off each other in fast-paced frenzy that gets audiences thinking and laughing at the same time.
