A Cornell University study recently showed that one of the surest pathways to happiness is through experiences, rather than buying favorite things. This is especially true when the experiences are shared with the people we love, and likely comes as no surprise around the holiday season. How many formerly favorite toys are now collecting dust while memories and family traditions continue to warm the heart many years later? We in the real estate business may seem biased, but there’s more to the home-as-castle than four walls and a roof (and hopefully a moat to keep unwelcome visitors at bay). We see the possibility in creating a legacy with our properties. Simply put, our castles are where the memories are made. While occasionally feeling very small Build a legacy with a Ski-Town Second Home Where traditions are born and then pressed into our future generations. And while day-to-day abodes serve the purpose, our day-to-day needs adapt. We move too frequently for our primary residence to really become a part of the living family legacy. The vacation home creates the space for family to relax together. To create memories together. To build happiness together. So where might one look for an escape for the holidays?
