Black Stallion Winery lights up for the holidays Black Stallion Winery hosts many events throughout the year, including the very popular Annual Holiday Open House and Art Show. This year, Open House will be held Saturday, December 7, from 12 noon until 4 pm. Guests can browse and shop the original creations of selected local Wine Country artists. In support of local art, the winery offers this event commission-free to the participating artists. The media displayed are diverse: oil painting, pastel, jewelry, photography, textiles and more. Each artist will be present to meet guests and discuss their creations. Adding to the festivities, carefully chosen Black Stallion award-winning wines are paired with holiday nibbles. This event is a great way to learn about local talent, taste wines, and do some holiday shopping without leaving the Napa Valley. Entrance to the event is $15 dollars per person or $10 for Napa residents. Black Stallion Winery offers a perfect balance of red and white wines as well as Rosé and Muscat. Most of the wines at Black Stallion are produced in small quantities, with very limited availability. Tasting fees range from $15 to $30, and “Napa Neighbor” benefits are available to local patrons. The on-site Concierge is always available to arrange private tastings and winery tours, or to accommodate larger groups. In addition, Black Stallion Winery offers several venues on the estate that can be reserved for private events. Black Stallion Winery is located in the Oak Knoll District, a grape growing region in the southern half of the Napa Valley. The name Black Stallion pays homage to the rich history of the 32-acre estate, which was once home to the Silverado Horsemen’s Center. With the olive-tree-lined drive, impressive black stallion sculpture and meticulously landscaped gardens, the majestic estate of Black Stallion Winery is visually spectacular.
