Why We’re Supporting the Queen Cristina & Lee Hudson Every Napa resident deserves world-class health care. After three decades of producing grapes for some of Napa’s premier vintners and making our own estate-grown wines, Hudson Ranch expanded our agricultural focus in 2008 and began producing and selling vegetables, meat and eggs under our own label. Cristina’s years of experience at Chez Panisse, coupled with her passion for growing food that’s not just fresh, but alive and diverse, helped us refine our vision: to cultivate the highest quality vegetables, meats and poultry farmed sustainably and without hormones or antibiotics. Today, to encourage the healthy gathering of people around the table, we deliver fresh food to as many as 80 Napa households through a Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA) Program that links local farms to local families. In addition, we make our produce available to a broader audience at Oxbow Produce and Grocery in Napa and other restaurants and markets in our region. Let’s not waste a moment. Visit www.queensfoundation.org or call (707) 257-4044. Queen of the Valley Medical Center shares our deep commitment to health and disease prevention. The Queen’s Wellness Center and Synergy Medical Fitness Center provide a direct link between lifestyle changes and better health. They offer programs that incorporate nutrition counseling and education, as well as exercise planning with specific goals to reduce risk factors for future health problems. We love being part of the Napa community and are committed to doing what we can to ensure that every Napa resident enjoys the best possible health. That’s why we’re supporting the Queen with a generous contribution. We urge you to do the same. • Vintners • Grape growers • Farmers and Ranchers • Owners of Oxbow Produce & Grocery • Napa residents
