OCTOBER 1: ANIMAL BLESSING IN FERNANDEZ PARK
11am. All pets and people are invited to an animal blessing with treats
for the pets. You can have your pets blessed at 11 am in the park
or bring them for a blessing during Christ the Lord Church’s worship
service at 9:30 am. Please make sure pets are leashed or in a carrier
for their safety. Fernandez Park is at 595 Tennent Ave. in Pinole, and
Christ the Lord Church is across the street at 592 Tennent.

SPIRITUAL PRACTICE.”
9:30am. Claudia Miller received her M.A. from Naropa University in
Oakland, where she created a curriculum of dialogue processes. She
is a practitioner of non-violent communication and a mediator who
facilitates dialogues to find common ground and mutual respect. Free.

TRAINING
This eight-evening class series meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays
beginning on October 3 from 6:30-9pm: Learn emergency preparedness
skills to use in your home, neighborhood, and workplace. Training gives
you tools and the knowledge you need to survive a disaster. Richmond
Fire Department (RFD) Training Center, 3506 Cutting Blvd. The final drill
will be held on Saturday, October 28. Class size is limited so register
