The buffet style breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, orange juice and coffee. Mimosas will also be available for an extra fee. Breakfast is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and tickets are $9 and $5 for children 8 and younger. Arrive early since breakfast is served on a first come first serve basis. If you’re not able to make the Father’s Day breakfast, there are monthly breakfasts through October 2015. For more information go to richmondmuseum.org. 21: Marina Bay Half Marathon and 5K Known as The Riveter, this half marathon and 5k race is an awe inspiring experience that not only gives you the opportunity to test your limits but also allows you to get lost in your run while racing through the beautiful historic surroundings. Starting and finishing at the Craneway Pavilion, this fast flat course will take racers past breathtaking views of the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco Skyline, and the Marina Bay and out to Point Isabel and back on the newly paved East Bay Trail System. Half marathon $100; 5K $45; 5K for kids 12 and under $25. Registration fees are good until June 17. JULY 3: Independence Eve with the Oakland East Bay Symphony Celebrate the Fourth a day early with the 7th Annual Independence Eve featuring a performance by the Oakland East Bay Symphony and guest artists. Promptly following the free concert will be a spectacular fireworks display. Located at the Craneway Pavilion, the concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. with fireworks to follow.
