We have paddle boats and rowboats, regular motorboats, deluxe motorboats, patio boats that will seat up to 10 people, ultra-patio boats that’ll seat up to 14, then we have our ultra-plush Suncruiser that will seat 10 people—it has two couch-like parts to the boat and a little round couch area.” So take your pick! Catering By Matt Larson to any size party, you can have a very affordable day out on the water. The water is also full of fish as they’re replenished all the time from Mount Lassen. “We plant fish every week; up to 1,200 pounds of trout,” said Shoemaker. “Hopefully we can do it all year long but if the water temperature gets too high, once it reaches 70 degrees we start planting catfish.” They plant both rainbow and lighting trout, and you can also find sturgeon, spotted bass, both largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie and carp. “It’s beautiful,” said Shoemaker. “Most people are surprised it even exists so close to the city.” San Pablo Reservoir is located at 7301 PHOTO CREDITS: DAnIEL PEREz AnD KAREn HOLzMAn
