At a time when learning to be more attentive to one another seems more pressing than ever, Now Hear This! focuses on the simple act of listening. Taking the legacy of Pauline Oliveros, a central figure in the development of experimental and post-war electronic art music, as a central point of departure, the exhibition will explore how more intimate listening can deepen our appreciation of our world and one another. Works on view will include immersive sitespecific soundscapes, sonic experiences and activities, and sound sculptures, and a new digital curatorial platform, Soundings.
