With 70 students taking part in the program, VCS’s campus transformed into a veritable hub for innovation and business savvy. Participants attended seminars and workshops conducted by prominent Silicon Valley business leaders, gaining 46 South Bay Accent invaluable experience as well as the necessary tools and training to develop startup concepts and pitch them to “real-world” venture capitalists. The creative process began with intensive training and mentoring from Silicon Valley leaders including Danny Kim, co-founder and chief technology officer of Full Armor Corp; James Chung, founder and CEO of myCIO; Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Vmware; and John Tortora, COO of Sharks Sports &
