In December of last year, Jason Caldwell and his three Latitude 35 teammates got into a small boat and rowed 3000 miles across the Atlantic. One of the few people on the planet with the stamina to make the trip more than once, Caldwell had entered the same competitive race the year before; he knew just how grueling it could be. In his previous attempt he had embarked with three teammates but due to illness and injury, two of them had to be evacuated at the 600-mile mark. Still, Caldwell and his sole teammate completed the remaining 2,400 miles on their own and somehow managed to finish in 11th place.
