Among honors we received was the Press Club’s 2015 first-place award for Overall Excellence in the category of Magazines, Trade Publications and Newsletters. South Bay Accent has been publishing continuously for 38 years. We thank the press club for acknowledging our work, and we offer heartfelt appreciation to the loyal readers and advertisers whose ongoing support enables us to produce a first-class magazine covering the wonderful area in which we live. The San Francisco Peninsula Press Club received some 400 entries from 11 Bay Area counties, representing 35 media organizations. The contest was judged by press clubs in Cleveland, Florida, New Orleans, Orange and Kern counties. South Bay Accent competed in the category of Magazines/Trade Publications/Newsletters.
