followed shortly by the buildings on the eastern side of the
Villa site. The foundations are now completed for the Villas
and the Hotel, which is also heading into the vertical stage
of construction.
The main hotel building has recently gone through a final
refinement and approval process by The Ritz-Carlton hotel
operations team, thereby perfecting elements such as the
guestroom views and repositioning the Presidential Retreat
for a better guest experience. The Ritz-Carlton Corporate
Global Design team has also enhanced the spa, which will
further elevate the indoor-outdoor experience for the guest.
“This is the largest undertaking of a new master-planned
community to feature a Ritz-Carlton with Residences in
close to a decade and it has been imperative that we
accomplish each phase with the utmost attention to
detail and at the highest of standards,” said Jerry Ayoub,
developer of the project. “This community is unlike
anything in the country, if not the world, and the public
will soon see the painstaking efforts that have gone into
making this a world-class destination for Arizona to be
proud of.”
Spread out over approximately 20 acres, the design of the
hotel will employ simple, elegant forms to create relaxed,
comfortable spaces in the time-honored tradition of luxury
architecture. The stunning Grand Lobby, situated above
The Hotel Bar (left) and the Hotel Reception area (below)
the rest of the hotel overlooking Camelback Mountain,
will greet guests with a water feature that cascades down
through the property to a world-class spa. The resort’s room
composition, with its 215 rooms, includes spacious suites
with superior amenities and design. The abundant oversized
suites, detached casitas and bungalows will make The
Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley an ideal destination for those
seeking a private oasis.
Guest accommodations will be connected by quiet, lush
courtyard gardens and shaded walkways – evoking the
sense of a village. Large windows with deep overhangs will
promote the resort’s indoor/outdoor living ethos, along with
unobstructed views of Arizona’s idyllic sunsets. The main
pool, spanning nearly 400 feet, will be one of the longest
resort pool in North America. A specialty dining concept will
harvest seasonal produce from the resort’s anticipated herb
garden and citrus orchard and incorporate ingredients into
the daily menus. Rounding out the offering will be a 16,000
square-foot spa with indoor/outdoor treatment areas, which
will incorporate the latest in treatments sourced from the
best spas in the world. A 2,500 square-foot state-of-the-art
health and fitness center, indoor/outdoor meeting and event
space and a grand lawn with stunning views of the iconic
Camelback, Mummy and McDowell mountains are some
more of the incredible experiences which will make up this
world class hotel.
