An Update on The Ritz-Carlton
Paradise Valley
Words by Brendan Mann
A $2 billion, 122-acre luxury development doesn’t pop
up overnight. It evolves slowly with great attention to
detail in order to create a legacy community that will
endure for generations to come.
At the future site of Five Star Development’s Ritz-
Carlton, Paradise Valley much has changed over the
past year, most of which is difficult to see from the
perimeter of the massive site. Currently buildings are
taking shape and one of the country’s most soughtafter
destinations is coming to life.
To date over $50 million in construction work has
been completed on the site. This includes storm
water channels throughout the property, development
infrastructure like water, sewer, fire, phone and internet
etc. and major excavation for the subterranean parking
both for the Hotel and The Villas. The construction
team has moved or removed an astounding 850 cubic
yards of dirt so far, with more to come.
Soon to occur will be the completion of the Villa
garage, the main entry to the community from Lincoln
Boulevard and the road called Palmeraie Boulevard,
which connects Lincoln Drive to Indian Bend Road.
Up next is the most exciting phase of constructiongoing
vertical! The team has now reached the
milestone of vertical construction on the southern
Villa building which is a spectacular sight to behold,
Construction is under way
