Walt Danley Realty Presents
PORTFOLIO
Welcome to the 26th issue of Portfolio Magazine. Hard to believe that Winter is over and Spring
is here again. We know our winters here in Arizona usually consist of one “chilly” day at the most,
while others are dealing with rain and snow. We don’t complain, that’s why we live in this beautiful
state. While it was a rather dry weather season for Arizona, there’s never a dry spell for some amazing
properties to spring up. My greatest joy comes from showcasing the spectacular properties we have
on offer.
I love showing unique and special properties. The first featured property, on page 10, focuses on a
downtown Phoenix jewel in Encanto that was originally designed in 1936. It’s a local treasure. Only
a handful of locations in Paradise Valley have views of Camelback Mountain, on page 14. Since we’re
speaking of paradise, the Nance Construction estate on Paradise View Drive lives in perfect harmony
with the inspired architecture and expansive spaces, which is found on page 18. We are delighted to
feature, and one of our biggest yet, a compound in the community of Estancia. This estate combines
an authentic Southwest exterior with soft contemporary interior finishes that truly complement one
another. Coverage begins on page 32. “Grand Designs” features a newly remodeled custom home that
it is truly welcoming and refined. That’s on page 42.
“Mastering the Art of Upscale Resale”, starting on page 24, you can learn about whether any of your
heirlooms are worth putting up for auction with Christie’s International, or whether you’d be better off
with a luxury consignment store like My Sister’s Attic. Building Smart starts on page 38 where Jerry
Meek explains the process of assembling a team and building a custom home without false starts or
blown budgets. As usual you’ll find our quarterly report where we take a closer look at the status of the
luxury home market and what it means for you.
We close out the issue with our own collection of Arizona’s finest properties, where you’ll find listings
that are active in the MLS, as well as private listings that can only be seen within these pages, on
WaltDanley.com and on our carefully curated affiliate sites.
Thank you for reading.
Until next time,
WALT DANLEY
