Walt Danley Realty Presents PORTFOLIO Welcome to our 20th issue of Portfolio Magazine. Fall is upon us… we look forward to the subtle changes in temperature and natural scenery, but with the Fall comes a rush of new listings and enthusiasm in the Valley of the Sun. In this issue you’ll find features on several of my favorite properties. The property on our cover is a modern marvel of engineering and design in Fountain Hills, with a corresponding article, on (page 52), highlighting some of the features and a look behind the scenes. On page 10, you’ll find a modern gem in Scottsdale located along the Cactus Corridor that shows it’s ok to be bold and use pops of color with modern touches. The iconic Mediterranean estate on Exeter is a reminder of how grand Arcadia can be, found on page 16. A gorgeous custom home in Carefree shows the power of letting nature surround you on page 24. And finally on page 34, there is an exceptional sanctuary in Cameldale that blends old world design with Southwestern charm. A featured article in this issue is a new look at an old thing - wallpaper. Yes, wallpaper is making its resurgence as one of the hottest design choices to freshen up any wall, which is found on page 30. As usual you’ll find our quarterly report where we take a closer look at the status of the luxury home market and what it means for you. The semi-new feature for this Fall issue, is a sampling of a featured property from Christie’s International Real Estate, and we chose an estate in Telluride, Colorado that should warm up the soul because of the awe-inspiring views of Sunset Ridge. And, last but not least, is a feature found on (page 78) of our Development Services Team’s new series of projects featuring a live/work community in SOHO Scottsdale, a Biltmore-Arcadia development called Rosedale and new urban luxury townhomes in the heart of downtown Tempe, .
