T he best way to describe Nancy and Anne Seaver is a dynamic beauty duo. Anne is a girly girl who loves to dress up and play with hair and makeup. Her chin length hair can be worn down or easily pulled up into a pony with a cute headband. She currently loves the Sulfate Free Shampoo and Instant Reconstructor by Enjoy, as well as Moroccan Oil Styling Cream. She finishes off her look with Kenra Volume 25 Hairspray and Lulu Organics Hair Powder. Anne uses Murad’s Essential-C line in her skincare regime; it has taken care of dark spots and has given her skin a smooth texture. She also loves to use the Clairsonic Complexion Brush, a cleansing and exfoliating wonder. Another favorite of Anne’s is the GlamGlow mask. She does this in the morning to be prepared for any red carpet moments she has throughout the day! Staying healthy is important to Anne; she gets her glow from yoga and spinning, saying, “Yoga, meditation and smiling are the best beauty tips ever. Smiling makes everyone look better!” She also drinks a lot of water and keeps her brows clean and groomed. She is always on the hunt for new and helpful beauty tricks. Her newest discovery is using coconut oil for her skin, face, and body—she even uses it as shaving cream! To give herself a safe and glowing tan, Anne gets a spray tan from Liz at Heaven and Earth a few times a month, before a trip, or before a special occasion. She has learned to live and love from her mother, Nancy. Nancy and her husband, baseball hall-of-famer Tom Seaver, moved from Connecticut to the Napa Valley “late in life” to begin new careers as wine makers. She found that the difference in climate from the East Coast to West Coast made her hair and skin very dry, and with an increasingly busy schedule she needed a change, so she went with a shorter haircut. She says that with a great cut you’re “never in a bind. You can blow it dry and you’re out the door.” She loves Pureology to keep her hair healthy and her color strong. She claims her hair would look better if she used more products, but she doesn’t, which is okay – it still looks great! Nancy, like Anne, swears by the Clairsonic Complexion Brush for polished and radiant skin. For body lotion, Nancy sticks to the brands Kai and Cetaphil. One of Nancy’s favorite tricks is to brush her teeth with hydrogen peroxide because it is great for gums, teeth and breath, and keeps teeth pearly white! For skincare, Nancy loves using Obaji and has used the line for years. It keeps her skin moisturized, prevents breakouts, keeps texture smooth and pores small, and even removed dark spots. She also keeps frown and squinting lines at bay with Botox treatments. A big part of her beauty regime is makeup! Although her beauty truly shines from within, she likes wearing makeup, especially makeup that lasts. Her favorites are Estee Lauder foundation, Chanel brow pencil in Blonde, Chanel lip liner in Nude, and any great coral lipstick. She says that a long and happy marriage is great for beauty; she and Tom have been married for forty-five years. Nancy, Tom and Anne are all working at Seaver Vineyards, which Nancy says has made an overwhelming job fun again! Seaver Vineyards was founded in 2000.
