Napa City Nights kicks off its seventh season of its summer Friday-night concert series in downtown Napa at the Veterans Memorial Park amphitheater on June 6 at 6:30 p.m. This event showcases local and regional artists in Napa’s first and only outdoor venue, nestled along the Napa River Walk. It is an easy walking distance from local hotels, wine bars and restaurants, enticing attendees to enjoy the local culture. Napa City Nights is presented every Friday evening 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm June 6 – August 29. This program is geared to give young adults the opportunity to have a hands-on learning experience in setting up a performance stage and learning to set up and operate sound and lighting equipment. TM Formed in 2008, the all-volunteer committee of musicians and music lovers has a passion to help create, sustain and support the local music scene in our community. Since then, it has organized and raised funding for the series every year. The group is committed to its mission to offer a family-friendly event where local musicians can showcase their talent. The event has grown tremendously, now drawing nearly 10,000 attendees per season.
