ARTS IN APRIL — ST. HELENA STYLE Arts in April, St. Helena Style celebrates all art forms that make St Helena a cultural destination in Napa Valley. In addition to the many St Helena area wineries that will showcase art bASH2013 exhibits all month long, St Helena will host the 2nd Annual bASH at the world famous Culinary Institute of America. Come Celebrate The Art of Winemaking and the Culinary Arts On April 13, Appellation St Helena (ASH), representing more than 40 St Helena wineries and vineyards, in partnership with Peju Winery April 8th -14th (12pm-4pm daily) Visit Peju Winery, a garden oasis in Rutherford, for an interactive art exhibit during Arts in April. Begin your tour with a welcome wine and tour of our upstairs gallery where you’ll have a chance to observe and interact with local artist Anne Pentland as she completes a large scale chalk illustration in the Peju cellar. HALL Rutherford Winery houses many of Kathryn and Craig Hall’s personal contemporary art collection. We feature art in our main salon, cave and chandelier room, as well as sculptures on the grounds. Wineries and chefs are collaborating to offer savory bites from a variety of St Helena restaurants, caterers as well as ‘Rising Star’ students selected by the teaching staff of the Culinary Institute of America. One of the CIA student teams with a winery from the St Helena Appellation. Small bites are meticulously prepared to complement the wine while delighting your senses.
