Napa City Nights was formed in 2008 by a group of volunteer musicians and music lovers with a passion to support the local music scene in our community. Each summer since then, the group has organized, funded, and implemented this successful free, family-friendly summer concert series which features local and regional acts. This summer’s concerts take place every Friday evening through September 13, 6:30 p.m. -10:00 p.m. It’s always free and fun for the whole family. The event is walking distance from local hotels, wine bars and restaurants, enticing attendees to enjoy the local culture of downtown Napa. The “Napa City Nights” vision has been to provide a free downtown summer concert series in the newly renovated Veterans Memorial Park Amphitheater, Napa’s first and only outdoor venue nestled along the Napa River Walk. Its mission is to offer an accessible venue where local musicians can showcase their talent. The event has grown, drawing as many as 10,000 attendees per season, and has gained recognition, including featured articles in newspapers, magazines and a mention in USA Today.
