Murez did some investigating following the reaction of Riverfront tenants and passersby when she showed up to remove the diagram, as she had been told was required by the city. “Nearby tenants including Marie Lyall and Visitor Center staff came out and pleaded that I not remove it,” said Murez. “Friends and arts people in Napa, including Evy Warshawski, were eager for it to stay.” “Passersby kept dancing on it, even as I set out my tools to the removal,” she said. “So I looked for solutions, a way to keep the diagrams there.” It turned out that Channel Properties, owners of the Riverfront, had received misleading information. “Once that was cleared up, we were able to make the necessary arrangements for the Cha Cha Cha to stay.”  Apparently the Marketing Team for the Riverfront building loves it so much that they want more dance diagrams installed.   “I love having it there, love having it loved, and danced by all,” Murez said. The installation won the People’s Choice Award for the Artwalk. “Periodically I google it and find youtube videos posted by passersby.”  Learn more at www.robinmurez.com/section1/chachacha.htm
