Cheryl Feuerborn, a master flower show judge and popular speaker, will demonstrate and explain her floral design techniques at the November 10 fundraiser of the El Cerrito Garden Club. As usual - this is her third presentation for our club - her floral designs will be raffled off. The program includes bountiful tea table refreshments, a plant sale, and a silent auction and white elephant sale. Meet at the El Cerrito Community Center (7007 Moeser Lane) for socializing, the plant sale, silent auction and refreshments. Everyone of all ages is invited to place small American flags on the graves of veterans at Sunset View Cemetery, 101 Colusa Ave., El Cerrito. The El Cerrito Lions Club, the sponsor of this memorable annual event, will provide flags to all participants. A patriotic opening ceremony will take place at 8:00 am in the lower parking lot, where flags will be distributed and refreshments (coffee, donuts, and juice) will be served. Participants will then drive into the cemetery to place their flags. Please bring a screwdriver to punch holes for your flags and wear water-resistant shoes.
