seasoned to perfection and served chilled. For dinner, I chose the Blackened Salmon, covered with Creole spices and served with mashed potatoes and sautéed seasonal vegetables. The salmon was tender, moist, and the spices were flavorful but not too spicy. The mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy, and I especially enjoyed the fresh vegetables, which included cauliflower, carrots and zucchini-a tasty combination. My guests ordered the Grilled Chicken with Adobo Sauce, and the Chicken Tayabe. The chicken with Adobo Sauce was moist and juicy bone-in chicken covered with sauce that had a spicy kick to it. It was topped with caramelized carrots, chickpeas, and zucchini, and was served over a generous bed of buttermilk mashed potatoes. The Chicken Tayabe won the prize for presentation, and we all marveled at how delicious it looked when it was served. This entrée consisted of Chicken strips seasoned with Mediterranean spices, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and caramelized onions, served over yummy hummus with baba ghannouj, dolmas, and lavash bread. My guest enjoyed the fresh, light and tangy taste of her meal, and how the flavors complimented one another. All three of these entrees are highly recommended! we all decided to try a little dessert. At the time of this review, the desserts offered were not made on-site, but will be soon. Nevertheless, the desserts we selected were the perfect ending to excellent meals. we tried three of the four offerings—Tiramisu, Fresh Strawberries and Cream, and the Spiced Peach Cake, which was my personal choice. The cake really didn’t taste “peachy”—rather like pear. But it was light and refreshing, and accompanied by the richest, most flavorful vanilla ice cream I’ve ever tasted!
