Every program supports this mission and everyone who works for or on behalf of BFHP understands and is loyal to this mission and purpose. The Supportive Services for Veterans Families program is designed to serve very low-income, primarily homeless Veterans and Veteran families. The program assists Veterans in exiting homelessness to permanent housing, and in maintaining a permanent housing placement. What you can do: If you know or meet any veteran who is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, please have them call our veterans hotline at 1(855) 862-1804 for more information. The veteran must be very low income, homeless or at risk of homelessness. The veteran must have anything other than a dishonorable discharge and have served at least 1 day of active duty. The VA has given our agency the unique opportunity to give back to those who have served our county, and we would love to get the community involved in ending the cycle of homelessness for veterans and their families.
