After spending the Christmas holiday season with my daughter and grandchildren in Seattle, it is nice to come back home and get back in the swing of things. Family time is always my most treasured moment and I look forward to many more this coming year. Anyone make any New Year’s resolutions? I think we all did, and it’s generally health related it seems. If you Deborah ludlow Stevens are looking to make some dietary changes, one of the great ideas lately seems to be juicing. Inside this issue, there is a wonderful local woman who sells her juices (yes, they include lots of vegetables and not just fruits) at one of our local farmers markets. See pages 60 -61 for more information and the story about her and her small business. And it’s nice that she’s local and that we can shop local.
