HYPERLOGIK is now Computer Engineering Group (CEG) in Hercules CEG’s third location to service Contra Costa County residents Stephen Campbell, who founded Hyperlogik in 2001, has sold his Hercules computer repair company to his former Ohlone Elementary School friend, Jorge Zetina, and will become part of Computer Engineering Group (CEG). Zetina has signed a lease to move the computer repair store to a new spot in the Creekside Shopping Center that includes The Home Depot, Bank of America, the U.S. Post Office/UPS and Round Table Pizza. The new store, to be managed by Campbell, will be CEG’s third outlet, after Zetina established his first in Napa in 2005 and his second in St. Helena in 2015. Campbell and Zetina attended Pinole Valley Middle School and Pinole Valley High School together, then attended college. Both are Microsoft Certified Professionals. Zetina, who has 20 employees, said he plans to continue growing the Hercules shop by concentrating on customer service and providing in-house IT coverage for Contra Costa-area businesses. He has signed a fiveyear Stephen & Jorge employment contract with Campbell. “Stephen has proven himself as a businessman who understands the local community and his clientele,” said Zetina. “This arrangement in Hercules wouldn’t work without him.” said Zetina. Zetina said CEG is in a hiring phase, and that the investments he plans to make in his company over the next five years will help establish CEG throughout the Bay Area. “This is the start of a process of growing together, so that Jorge and I are on the same page and committed to each other for the long term,” said Campbell. Zetina said CEG’s large team of technicians will offer more services, better pricing and faster response times. For example, CEG will offer a Remote Monitoring and Maintenance (RMM) service for $19.99 per month that will provide residential customers with unlimited call-in support, including leading anti-virus and Ransom Ware Protection.
