The Pinole Historical Society booth at the farmers’ market (parking lot behind the Bank of Pinole building) has 11 area history books — including its newly published book, “Pinole Through Time” — and greeting cards, postcards, Fernandez Mansion magnets, Old School magnets, and U.S. flags for sale. August 6-7: RELAY FOR LIFE OF El Sobrante/Pinole 10am- 10am. Collins Elementary School. Relay is an organized, 24 hour community fundraising walk where teams of friends, family and colleagues camp out around and take turns walking the track.
