Contra Costa Marketplace - April 2015

Hercules Sp tlight April is here and it’s amazing how quickly the year is flying by. Here at the Chamber, each month brings positive changes. Our goal for the year is to increase the value of Chamber membership and to promote the Hercules Chamber as a first choice resource when looking for products and services. We’re meeting this goal by encouraging community members to “Think Local”. Our website and member director y are g reat tools, making it easier for residents to find the products and ser vices they are looking for. Our members continue to enjoy ever increasing benefits of being a part of the Chamber. We recently held our 4th Annual Kids Expo and monthly we hold networking events. Our members also benefit from the many advertising opportunities the Chamber provides. In May, we will host our 3rd Annual Women’s Day. This event showcases local women owned businesses giving them the opportunity to promote the products and services they provide. The Chamber is committed to increasing our visibility in the community by partnering with other West County Chambers to sponsor mixers and events and with Marketplace Magazine to promote local businesses. Partnerships increase our member’s ability to network with a broader group of business owners and perspective clients and foster a greater sense of community. If you have not had a chance to attend a local Chamber event you are missing out on a great networking opportunity. Hercules has a thriving, and growing business community, in addition to family friendly parks and g reat residential neighborhoods. Our many small business owners love living in and ser ving our wonderful community. We hope that you will support them and always remember to “Think Local!” Sylvia Villa-Serrano Executive Director Hercules Chamber of Commerce 18 MARKETPLACEcontrac osta .com APRIL 2015
