66 Ordering Information Return Policy We understand that sometimes it is necessary to return merchandise. Please follow these guidelines in returning any merchandise received from ACSI. 1. Permission to return merchandise must be granted by ACSI for credit to be issued, unless it was ordered on 60-day review. Call 800-367-0798 for authorization to return materials. The following must be true in order for the merchandise to be approved for return: • It must be in new, resalable condition. • It must be less than six months old. • It must be included in the current ACSI product catalog. 2. The following merchandise may not be returned to ACSI for credit: • Testing materials or ancillary assessment materials • DVDs and CDs • Stamped, stickered, or used items 3. When authorization to return merchandise has been granted, please follow these shipping instructions: • Enclose your packing slip or a copy of your invoice in the package, along with the Product Return Form. • Use a sturdy box and pack the materials tightly. Fill any extra space with clean crumpled paper or packing material, so the materials do not shuffle around in the box. • Use the ACSI address label from the Product Return Form, or send returns to the following address: ACSI, Attn: Returns, 731 Chapel Hills Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. • Retain the receipt with tracking information. Ship by a traceable means, such as UPS or FedEx Ground Services, which would also be responsible for any damage incurred in shipping. ACSI is not liable for damaged returns. 4. A 10% restocking fee will be applied to the credit memo for approved returns, unless the order was on 60-day review and was returned within that time period, or the materials were shipped to you in error by ACSI. Terms • Full payment is due within 30 days of invoice date (unless the order is a 60-day review). • MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover cards are accepted. Call ACSI Customer Service for overnight, two-day, three-day, or “rush” (ship within 24 hours) charges. Review Copies Purposeful Design Textbooks: ACSI member schools may request one free student textbook per grade level for review purposes. Schools may keep these textbooks. The school will not be invoiced, and there will be no shipping charges. Purposeful Design Teacher Editions: Teacher Editions may be requested on a 60-day review. Items will be billed at full invoice, but if returned in saleable condition within 60 days, the school may disregard the invoice. Return shipping charges are paid by the school. Call your Educational Sales Consultant (see page 64) to request materials for review and to obtain review policies of Mosdos and TextWord literature books. Review copy offers are not valid for schools in certain countries. Free Teacher Editions ACSI member schools are eligible to receive a free teacher edition for each classroom quantity of student books ordered, upon request. A minimum purchase of student books per grade level is required as follows: Purposeful Design 10 Mosdos Press 25 Textword Press 30 This policy applies only for orders of textbooks from U.S. member schools and select international member schools. Bookstores and Distributors Bookstores may request an application for trade discount. The shipping guidelines for domestic schools and bookstores are the same. FedEx will be used when the order is seven boxes or fewer. Conway Express will be used for orders containing eight boxes or more. Bookstore orders will incur a 10% shipping and handling fee. Textbooks and trade books that are included in the ACSI product catalog and are not published by Purposeful Design have an ND designation, meaning that bookstores and distributors do not receive a trade recognition discount on these items.
