The courses provide language support with a Christian discipleship framework enabling these students to successfully reach their full potential. Each course provides 80–100 hours of instruction through a teacher-assisted or student self-study format. Teachers can view student activities so that they are able to focus attention on areas of need, and assignments are automatically graded so that teachers can spend more time on instruction. The online format allows multiple students to learn different concepts simultaneously. The objectives of the five courses range from limited exposure to English and usage and recognition of common words (Level 1) to a good command of English vocabulary and an ability to read complicated articles, to write well with few grammatical errors, and to communicate in English fluently (Level 5).
